No matter where you are in your journey—whether breastfeeding, pumping, supplementing with formula, or introducing bottles—we offer expert, compassionate care tailored to meet your needs.

As parents ourselves, we understand the emotional and physical challenges of the postpartum period- feeding your baby  should not be one of them. You can trust us to provide non-judgmental support and expert guidance to ensure a positive and fulfilling feeding experience for both you and your baby. Our approach is unique and designed to meet you where you are, offering care that's personalized for you and your family.

At New England Breastfeeding Solutions, we believe in a modern approach to breastfeeding support. Unlike traditional methods that prioritize feeding the baby first, then protecting milk supply, and addressing the mother's needs last, we recognize that a mother's well-being is key to successful breastfeeding. We prioritize the mother's mental and physical health immediately after feeding the baby, ensuring a more balanced and sustainable experience.

Prioritizing a mother's well-being is a crucial component of successful breastfeeding. When mothers feel cared for and supported, they are better equipped to care for their babies. Our approach creates a healthier and more positive feeding relationship that benefits both mother and child. We are committed to providing support where mothers are not just caregivers but are seen, supported, and cared for in their own right.

By thoughtfully  combining our personal experiences as mothers with evidence-based practices and genuine, holistic support, we prioritize your health, well-being, and feeding goals. Join the many mothers who have found confidence, relief, and lasting success through our expert lactation services and feeding support.

Meet Olivia

Originally from Ireland, I embarked on a new chapter in Boston with the intention of giving it a go. Over 13 years later, that journey is still going! While I now have my own family here, Ireland will always hold a special place in my heart. My greatest and proudest achievements are undoubtedly my two daughters, who keep me busy and continue to teach me so much about life and myself.

My journey to motherhood was not without challenges. After struggling with fertility issues and experiencing losses, I am deeply grateful for the miracle of IVF that brought my girls into my life. I initially believed that once my babies arrived, the transition to motherhood would be straightforward—just a few sleepless nights, and I'd bounce back. How delusional I was! The reality proved far more challenging. Even having experience when my second daughter was born, we faced numerous obstacles during the newborn and infant stages, including colic, reflux, allergies, and gastrointestinal issues. We navigated elimination diets, grappled with latching problems, and addressed lip and tongue tie revision and re-revision. On top of that, I dealt with pelvic floor issues, which added another layer of complexity.

Throughout this journey, I often felt isolated, as if everyone else managed effortlessly while I struggled with a crying baby and felt overwhelmed by the constant challenges. I wrestled with feelings of inadequacy, guilt, and anxiety, and found it difficult to trust that things would get better. The disconnect between my experience and the seemingly smooth experiences of others, left me feeling like I was failing in motherhood.

I realized how crucial it is to support mothers as they navigate the intricate bond with their babies, with feeding choices playing a major role. My experiences have ignited my passion for advocating for maternal health and well-being. I am committed to supporting mothers in all aspects of their journey, with a particular focus on feeding. My goal is to create a safe space where mothers can openly discuss their fears and frustrations, feeling seen and heard to develop effective feeding plans tailored to their needs, and understand that “your worth and identity as a mother is NOT defined by how you choose to feed your baby".

I emphasize the importance of self-care for both mothers and their babies and reassure them that seeking help is not only okay but essential. No mother should navigate this journey alone.

By adopting a holistic approach, I aim to empower mothers to build confidence in their feeding choices and equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to address their unique challenges. You don’t have to “be in it” and face this alone—let us help you.
